Should I merge Blaq Siren Hair and Blaq Vixen Beauty?
Inspired by the whole Total Beauty (or "TB-Gate") issue that went down earlier this week, I have decided to build my Campbell iMedia empire (name still pending)! I started with Blaq Vixen Beauty, then Blaq Siren Hair, Valentine Vixen (soon to be Blaq Luv) Campbell iMedia, and lastly Blaq Celebeauty Style. 5 blogs in all! As you can imagine, developing all of them would require around 80+ hours a week...

Product Review: Motions Deep Penetrating Treatment
Unfortunately I am still battling split ends but thanks to a collection of deep conditioners and trims, my hair has become healthier. One of the products that I have been using is Motions At Home Salon Care D.P.T. Deep Penetrating Treatment. It is advanced conditioning therapy for dry, damaged hair. This salon-tested formula:
- Help minimize split ends and breakage.
- Works to strengthen weak, brittle hair.
- Deeply conditions dry hair and scalp.
- Is fast-acting and super thick.
- Smooths and detangles.
After you shampoo your hair, apply an ample amount of D.P.T., evenly distributing the product from root to tip. I like to applu three dollops of D.P.T. all over and then dividing my hair into three sections. From there, I detangle and smooth with a wide tooth comb to help coat my strands, especially my ends. Then I sit under my dryer to maximize the benefits. The directions say leave on for two to three minutes but I like to leave it in for at least five minutes. I can't get enough of extra conditioning as my hair desperately needs the moisture. Afterwards, I rinse and style.
I've been monitoring the health of my hair more closely now and I can honestly say that the condition of my hair has improved. I am reminded of how healthy it was before I decided to get highlights and a stylized bob. I'll experiment with highlights but I am never cutting my hair again, God-willing. I've missed my long hair terribly. And with this, I can repair my hair and still grow it out. Love it!
Don't even get me started on the smell - from what I can detect, the main smell is coconut-based. I love slathering it on my hair because your hair smells like coconut for days! Among the ingredients, there is mineral oil, dimenthicone, and hydrolyzed collagen present in this product.
Have you tried this product? What were your thoughts? Sound off!
